Tony Palomore, Sensei

Tony Palomore, Sensei

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.

How can we find true friendship in this often phony, temporary world? Friendship involves recognition or familiarity with another's personality. Friends often share likes and dislikes, interests, pursuits, and passion. Genuine friendship involves a shared sense of caring and concern, a desire to see one another grow and develop, and a hope for each other to succeed in all aspects of life. True friendship involves action: doing something for someone else while expecting nothing in return; sharing thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or negative criticism. Tony Palmore, Sensei is a true and tested friend; he has been in the World Sansei Koryu Gojukai Karatedo Organization for over 25 years. He is a member of the board of directors. The PKA superheavyweight Champion of the World is one of many the titles he has held, and he has won many national and international events. Tony Palmore motivates his students to develop as high achieving good citizens. His fitness and Karate programs are helping to build team spirit and forge a positive image in our community. He is a member of the Dade County School System. He is a personal advisor to the organizational founder, Manny Saavedra, Kaicho and a direct Student of his.
