Puerto Rico Sansei Yamabushi Dojo

Yamabushi Dojo Puerto Rico

Washington DC Dojo

Capital Dojo, Washington DC was established December 07, 2004
by Sensei M. Herzog and Sensei J. Fernandez.
It is located in the heart of Washington DC, in the YWCA, National Capital Area.
Our original intent was to create an outreach Karate program through the YWCA in the inner city so as to introduce the Art to all interested, regardless of background or economic means.
We continue this tradition three nights a week where teens and working adults come together to learn about the Art and its innumerable benefits to each individual.
Sensei M. Herzog and Sensei J. Fernandez are personal students to our Founder, Hanshi Saavedra.
Sensei J. Fernandez is currently the full-time Sensei of the Dojo and Sensei M. Herzog oversees the Dojo, its functions, and its future paths, goals, and potential.
Sensei Fernandez works in Washington DC for The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and Sensei Herzog is an Airline Pilot.
